Wow, what a powerful poem. I love the honesty, the ups and downs, the longevity of this love. My favorite stanza may be about all the risky things you tried like flying over tree trunks on bikes "As we are better opponent then partners"

What a beautiful poem. I can feel your love in every stanza. My husband and I will be married 43 years this August. We were high school sweethearts. I was 15; he was 18. Happy Anniversary!

This is a wonderful and powerful poem about the way love ebbs and flow as well as grows in a manner that no one could ever predict at 18 years ole. This is powerful and a goal that I can only imagine.

What a great way to celebrate and look back on your 40 years of marriage. I love your honesty here - how you talk about the joy and the struggles. An amazing piece of writing!
