#SOLSC24
I am terrible with goodbyes. I quietly scoot out at parties when no one is looking, hoping I won’t be seen. I’ve learned through the years that transitions aren’t easy for me. I always foolishly think that life will stay the same, but it never does. People come and go, jobs never stay the same, everyone keeps getting older and life moves forward, whether you’re ready or not. I was once told, “The only constant in your life is YOU.” Today, as I write my last slice in March 2022, I do not want to say goodbye, but instead, a shout out to those who made this month so special for me.

I hate goodbyes and transitions too. Even though I'm ready to have more reading time and more writing-for-myself time, it's still a bit of a letdown to get to April and be done with the daily challenge. Thanks for the lovely shout-out! I've so enjoyed reading your posts this month!

It has been a fun month of writing and getting to know new slicers - you being one of those for me! Thank you for the shout-out and for "coming" to the slicer party! I am hoping to get back to slicing on Tuesdays, so hopefully I will "see" you there!

So glad we made it (again)! I really liked your opening paragraph and your thoughts on saying goodbye. It's always weird when things end - a class, a vacation, and on and on. Maybe Tuesdays will work out; it might be nice to commit to that. Here's to our continued writing relationship.
